Ministry Overview
Ambassadors Football South Africa conducts football ministry across the country through their Hope Academy programs, football camps, TRECs, hosting and participating in tours, the management of clubs, and leading coach’s fellowships.

Hope Academy is an intensive and holistic football-based program that provides underprivileged children in Africa the opportunity to fulfil their God-given potential on and off the field. Our vision is to strategically establish self-sustainable Hope Academies in disadvantaged communities and to uplift children in Africa in their football, faith and future.

The South Africa group has also pioneered football prison ministry starting in 2004 at Pollsmoor Prison. The success of this program led to the development of a more intensive, structured program and the launch of the first Hope Academy in Drakenstein Youth Prison in 2008. The Academy has continued working with talented players within the prison system and delivered an intensive program holistically impacting juvenile offenders in their football, faith and future. The Hope Academy in Drakenstein yielded almost immediate success in the behavior and attitude of the young men and the coaches there walk the road with each offender and carry on a supportive relationship once the young men are released from prison.
