DT6 is inspired by the Ambassadors Football ministry in Rwanda.
We invite you to watch the story now.

REACHING THE NATIONS

DT6 refers to Deuteronomy 6, where God commanded Israel to use every opportunity and method to teach children to love and obey God. This instruction guides Ambassadors Football in partnering with churches to fulfil the Great Commission.

Football provides a unique context and method for children to grow up grounded in the Word of God. Church leaders increasingly notice this and ask Ambassadors Football for help in establishing DT6 in their nation.

We invite you to learn more about DT6 and to join us in prayer and through financial support to equip the Church and disciple the next generation.

SERVING CHURCHES & DENOMINATIONS

Equipping the Church with its existing structures to integrate football ministry builds God’s Kingdom in a powerful way.

THE WORD OF GOD AT THE CENTER

Our Toward the Goal curriculum takes children through the entire Bible in an engaging manner. The videos and booklets help them to know and love Jesus.

PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

DT6 is focused on girls and boys ages 6-12 to develop a Biblical worldview. This is a unique, yet often missed, window of faith and football development.

ONGOING DISCIPLESHIP

DT6 is a weekly football and discipleship program designed for the holistic transformation of individuals, their families, and their communities. Yearly tournaments and camps provide additional opportunities for special football ministry events.

EDUCATION

The program helps pastors, coaches, parents and teachers to work together for the educational interest of the children, focusing on attendance and excellence at school.

REACHING AND DISCIPLING
THE NEXT GENERATION

The universal challenge for the Church has always been reaching future generations for Christ. In Matthew 9:37, Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful” and this is so true when looking at Africa’s young population. The Church in Africa and around the world is struggling to reach children and the communities where they live. To make disciples of all nations, new methods are needed to connect the next generation to Jesus. Studies show that a person’s world-view is formed before the age of 13. If it is not filled by the Truth of God’s Word, other influences will fill the void.

Coaches have a unique opportunity to work with children where they love to be; on the football field. Using football to disciple children and develop them holistically allows children to join their love of football to a love of Jesus.

EQUIPPING THE CHURCH TO LEVERAGE FOOTBALL IMPACTS NATIONS

In Rwanda, Ambassadors Football partners with ADEPR, a denomination with over 3000 churches across the country. Ambassadors has trained 150 coaches from 52 church and school locations. Every Saturday 6,000 boys and girls are playing football and learning to know, love, and obey Jesus.

Church leaders, headmasters, government officials, and the football federation are celebrating the program’s impact on the nation. Within these first five years of ministry, over 500 children have professed their faith publicly through baptism, over 200 were reintegrated back into school, and 74 were given football scholarships. Several parents and other family members have come to faith in Jesus by seeing the change in the children’s lives and the Church grows.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
