Football Ministry in Ireland + Northern Ireland
Ambassadors Football Ireland models the impact of football ministry at all levels for our community. Our ministry programs include football clubs, camps, afterschool programmes, community outreach, tournaments, and other special ministry events.
Our goal is to mobilize individuals and churches through training and mentorship programs focused on bringing about a positive transformation in their communities
Although based in Northern Ireland our vision is to reach the whole of Ireland for Christ through our programs and partnerships with the church.
Club Teams
In Northern Ireland we run many different levels of clubs, from pre-school to adults. In total, we have about 300 players across 20 teams. Join us!

In Northern Ireland, we host football camps that are filled with fun, football, and Bible lessons. We've done summer camps, Easter camps, and more across the country.Â

Afterschool Programs
Our work in schools goes on throughout the year and provides us with great opportunities to tell young people about our faith and the work of Ambassadors around the world. We aim to serve schools through excellent coaching, assemblies, lunchtime clubs, and Scripture Unions.Â
Currently, we have afterschool programmes at Downshire and Bocombra Primary Schools. For more information or inquiries as to how your school can participate, contact us.
Football Tournaments
We run a range of football tournaments throughout the year that bring people together from across the community.
- Our youth tournaments provide fun, competitive opportunities for young players to develop their skills, build friendships, and enjoy the game in a positive environment.
- We also host school tournaments, giving pupils the chance to represent their schools, experience teamwork, and engage in healthy competition.
- A highlight of our calendar is the annual Churches Cup, which brings together teams from local churches for a day of football, fellowship, and community spirit.
Across all our tournaments, our aim is to create well-organised, welcoming events that reflect our values and use football as a platform to connect people and share hope.

Football Tours
Over the years, Ambassadors Football Ireland has organised a wide variety of tours in partnership with churches, equipping mission teams to serve and share the gospel in communities around the world, including:
- USA Coaching Tour - every year in July (up to 4 weeks)
- Senegal Tour - 5th-16th June
- Futsal Tournaments - around Europe (usually 2/3 per year)
- Youth Tours - Granada, Spain (annually)
Coach Training
Ambassadors strongly believes in equipping and enabling the local church to do ministry and we are here to help! Our staff are available to come and lead training for youth and church workers who would like to be involved in football ministry.
