Prague U16 – Rings

In the 2024/2025 school year, the team is intended for boys and girls born in 2009 – 2011.

This team does not participate in any competitions and the players only play pre-arranged friendly matches, however, for players born between 2006 and 2011, we have the opportunity to participate in a second training session per week and competitive matches in the official league against other Prague clubs in the U15 – Competitive, U17 – Competitive, and U19 – Competitive teams. It is a great opportunity that we recommend everyone to at least try.

Location

Training takes place every Monday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM during the school year except for public holidays and school holidays. The first training will take place on September 2, 2024.

Training takes place year-round at the TJ Bohemians Praha – Slovenská Sports Complex, Slovenská 2205/2, Vinohrady, 101 00 Prague 10.

We reserve the right to change the training location or cancel it due to possible operational problems (e.g. problems caused by the sports venue landlord) or force majeure (pandemic, etc.).

Equipment

It is not allowed to play with spiked football boots on the pitch. Turf shoes are the most suitable footwear.

Training

Approximately half of the training time is spent on football training according to the players’ abilities. At this age, it is still about developing individual technique, but we are also approaching common team skills, where players learn to cooperate with their teammates and gradually learn to play under pressure.

In the second half of the training, the players play football, during which we emphasize the transfer of skills from the training part to the game itself of specific players and in the concept of the team.

Since we are a Christian football club, we want to develop not only the physical (football) side of the players, but also the spiritual. That is why short reflections by the coaches are also part of the training sessions. We always want to explain the idea in a way that is understandable given the age of the children and in proportion to the fact that they come from different backgrounds. We convey biblical truths applied to life from the perspective of the Bible, other stories and our own experiences. Reflections are always accessible to parents. In some teams, a short prayer is also part of the training.

Cost

We collect contributions from players for playground rentals in the total amount of CZK 2,400 per half-year. (The contributions already include energy, which unfortunately has increased significantly in price in recent months.) We reserve the right to increase the price for the second half of the year in the event of increases in the rental amount.

• Payment for the 1st half of the year is due by July 31, 2024.
• Payment for the 2nd half of the year is due by January 31, 2025.

We reserve the right to cancel training sessions in the event of force majeure events such as inclement weather, illness of the coaching staff, and other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a longer-term inability to train (for example, due to government restrictions due to the pandemic), we will refund a proportional portion of the contributions.

Payments are always prescribed to players in the club application KIS, where they are also assigned the appropriate symbols.
