Ambassadors Football Mexico
Community Football + 11 Club Teams from Ages 4-18 + men and women teams.
Making an Impact in Mexico
The ministry in Mexico began in 2014 in the city of Puebla. Our vision is on impacting and transforming individuals and communities through football ministry.
Our passion is to see lives transformed by sharing Jesus through football.
Our focus is football at all levels — recreational, competitive, and elite. That’s why we work through our Football Development Plan (FDP), which aims to help every participant grow both in the game and in life.
Through this process, we develop disciples and remain committed to ensuring that each person’s future — in health, education, and character — is strong and dignified.
Our ministry programs include Community Football, an outreach initiative in partnership with local churches that offers Camps, Kickabouts, and Soccer Schools. We also run a Football Club, TREC and Tours.
Community Football
Ambassadors Football Mexico has developed a program called Community Football that, together with the church and the local community, allows people to hear and experience God's love through a school, camp, or kickabouts program.
The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for churches and organizations to use local sports facilities to engage children, youth, and/or adults in their community in structured recreational soccer activities with the goal of transforming their lives.
Community Football provides the opportunity to work with children ages 4-14, youth, and adults, giving them the chance to play and develop in a fun, healthy, and positive environment where we can combine soccer with biblical teaching.
The field provides the location. Soccer provides the attraction. The Church provides the volunteers, the impact, and the influence. As relationships grow, people are affected, and the desire is to see the broader impact extend to families, schools, and the community.

TREC
Ambassadors Football has developed several ways to train individuals and churches on how to use soccer for ministry. One of these ways is TREC (Training Resourcing Equipping Coaches/Churches), a training course designed to provide resources and equip coaches/churches.
Held around the world, it is a 3-level program that includes theoretical and practical training taught by experienced coaches and missionaries. The main focus is to train Christian coaches to influence, guide, and discipline their players in Christ so that they can have an impact on their community through soccer.
Football Club
Ambassadors Mexico opened the doors of its Football Club in February 2015.
Ambassadors Football Club is a program designed to develop young footballers, helping them excel both on and off the field.
Serving children and youth ages 4 to 18, plus men's and women's teams. We use a comprehensive methodology utilizing our three core elements – Football, Faith, Future.

Club Director
Meet Phil Cabildo
Ambassadors Football México and Ambassadors Football Club México are led by Phil Cabildo. Phil holds a FIFA coaching license issued by the English Football Association (English FA). He has over 15 years of international coaching experience. He has primarily worked as a coach in Spain and the United States, two of the most recognized countries for player development in recent years. He earned his MBA in Sports Management from UNISport, based in Barcelona, Spain.
Through Ambassadors Football as a player and coach, Phil has traveled to more than 25 countries, gaining extensive experience in various football programs. He has worked in the US and Spain developing football programs for human development. As a player and coach, he has participated in federated teams in Spain. Prior to his time in Spain, he played for Houghton College in New York State, where he earned an athletic scholarship and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In Mexico, he played for Puebla FC's youth system until he attended college.
Since 2005, Phil has been working for Ambassadors Football International. Thanks to this, an incredible team of experienced coaches from around the world collaborate in the development of Ambassadors Football Club's curriculum and coaching philosophy. Ambassadors Football Mexico benefits from these FIFA-licensed coaches from England, South Africa, the Netherlands, Brazil, and many other countries, who provide Ambassadors with the most innovative technical, tactical, and functional training methods for player development.
Above all, Phil believes that football coaching should educate the person, not just the player. He and Ambassadors aim to teach their players life and character lessons during every training session and match. His coaching philosophy is to value each of his players as individuals and help them learn to use each of their unique talents for their own benefit and that of the team.
Phil guides his coaching team by instilling the core values of Ambassadors Football (compassion, discipline, integrity, respect, humility, equality, excellence, courage, perseverance, service, and teamwork), which we believe are far more valuable to a player's personal development than technique and tactics.
Club Methodology
Our methodology/working philosophy is the key to success in all our programs. This model is based on our three pillars:
Football
We provide an optimal learning environment in our programs, offering top-quality soccer training with qualified coaches. Soccer is a fun sport, and we make sure players enjoy participating.
Faith
We develop the character and attitudes of each player by sharing values with principles based on the Bible (compassion, discipline, integrity, respect, humility, equality, excellence, courage, perseverance, service, and nobility).
Future
We provide opportunities for our participants to have a better future wherever they develop as individuals. Our programs help them make positive decisions for their future and reach their full potential, beyond the soccer field.
Club Mission: Developing well-rounded footballers so they can excel on and off the field.
Club Vision: Transforming soccer players into young people with moral values that impact their environment.
Club Objectives: Develop high-level players and impact communities by developing leaders.
We want to develop players into leaders so they can impact their communities through sports or whatever their vocation may be. Behind every child there is a family or some kind of support group, so by impacting one player, we can impact a family and a community.
